Me so excited. Meme So exicttted. Holy God, I can't even type. My great Aunt is 91, and she never had any kids. I'm the only female great-neice that she has, and she definitely prefers me to the others. The last time I went up to visit her, she and I planned out a trip. She said when she was in her 20s, she went all around Europe, and that was the best time of her life. She told me how much she learned and how it affected her, and she promised that she wanted the same for me. It'll be my graduation present. We went to the travel agent that she used to use, and here's what we got:
June 4: Graduation - It's a Saturday evening.
June 5: Make sure everything's packed; drive up to Chicago, IL
June 6-8: Plane to New York, NY. Do some touring of the big city.
June 9-14: Arrive in London, England. See the major tourist things and experience the city as an American should.
June 15-18: Tour all around Ireland.
June 19-29: Plane to Paris, France. Spend a few days touring Paris, then the rest of the week touring the country.
June 30-July 5: Plane to Florence, Italy. Two days in Florence, then one day in Milan and three days in Rome.
July 6-10: Plane to Germany.
July 11-16: Plane to Spain.
July 17-31: Back to England. This time, I'll be spending my time trying to experience the less touristy-attractions. See what it's like to live there for real; experience the same things as every-day English folk do.
August 1: Back to NYC. To avoid ridiculous jetlag and culture shock, I'll relax here for a day.
August 2: Back to Springfield, IL.
Late August/September: ...College.
We talked with the agent about maybe, if I'm not dead, I could think about spending less time in England. He thought maybe instead of two weeks at the end, I could cut it down to one and visit another place. His thoughts were Australia, Canada, India, Greece, or Poland. I'm game for everything but Canada... Too similar to home. But let me know your thoughts! I'm excited!

To the Moon and Back Again
It's halfway through October already. What the hell. I feel like two weeks ago, I was still sun bathing in my back yard. Blah, time is going by way too fast, and this girl is certainly not a fan.
Anyway, I have a few trips coming up, and since this is the first weekend the ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR that I haven't had any homework, I figured I should get planning.
Trip #1: St. Louis, MO. Panic! at the Disco is playing at this shitty bar in Sauget, which is a little town across the river from St. Louis. Sauget, pronounced "saw-jay", has three attractions, the bar we're heading to, which is open 24/7; the country's largest sex eporium; and the country's second biggest titty bar. Yayyy. The concert's on the 10th of November, which is a Thursday, so after school, my mom is going to grab me and three of my friends and hustle us over. I can't wait.
Trip #2: Anaheim, CA. This year, myself and three friends decided to go to VidCon 2012. We'll fly over that Wednesday and be in VidCon mode Thursday/Friday/Saturday.Then friend #1 is leaving to hang out with his California-born family members and the rest of us will fend for ourselves.
Trip #3: Anaheim/Los Angelas, CA. After he leaves, the rest of us will stay a few days in Anaheim and go to Disneyland. Seriously, I'm a Disney fanatic to the max. I LOVELOVeLOVELOVELOVE me some magic. After two-three days of that, we'll drive to L.A. where we'll stay a night and do some touring. Just because we can. Also, we have to use LAX anyways, so we figured, why not.
Trip #4: Orlando, FL. Fall of 2012, my dad is taking me and my younger brother and my best friend back to Disney World, because it's kinda maybe seriously the best place EVERRRR. Screw the first week of senior year. I've never experienced anything better than Disney.
Trip #5: Europe. Omg. This is a story completely seperate. New post?
